Consultant, IT Quality Assurance (QA)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–2 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Lead the investigation and translation of business requirements into test cases.
• Design and manage end-to-end testing activities across business projects.
• Create test plans, define testing strategies, and provide project estimates.
• Assign and oversee test case execution while coaching and mentoring team members.
• Identify testing issues, project risks, and obstacles, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate test deliverables, stakeholder communication, approvals, and status reporting.

Requirements

• Experience in software development testing, test automation, and software process improvement.
• Experience leading testing activities and coordinating project deliverables.
• Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, troubleshooting, leadership, and mentorship skills.
• Legal eligibility to work at the specified location in Canada is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
• Experience writing and executing SQL queries is an asset.
• Software development experience with Java, C#, Python, or VBScript is an asset.
