Facilities Maintenance Mechanic - Electrician

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States; support may also be provided at additional offsite locations. US citizenship is required.

Salary: $73,000–$116,000 annually. For specific locations in San Jose, the San Francisco Bay Area, and the New York City metropolitan area, the annual base pay range is $91,000–$137,000.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and other building systems and equipment.
• Operate Building Automation Systems, including Trane SC, Delta, and Automated Logic Controls.
• Manage maintenance work orders through a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Read blueprints, user manuals, and electrical and mechanical schematics to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Coordinate, supervise, and escort subcontractors while supporting HVAC mechanics, electricians, and plumbing assignments.
• Install or relocate modular furniture and laboratory benches, operate tools and material-handling equipment, and provide on-call coverage.

Requirements

• 8+ years of facilities operations and maintenance experience, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general repair work.
• Experience running conduit, adding single- and three-phase circuits, and working with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing tools.
• Clean-room laboratory experience and experience with computer-based work-order management systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, time management, communication, and customer-service skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• US citizenship is required. Ability to travel up to 10% and provide after-hours and weekend on-call coverage.

Nice to have

• Electrical certifications or an electrical license.
• Knowledge of Trane SC building automation systems.
• Experience providing customer service under pressure.
