Technical Writer IV (Salesforce)

Location: Remote within the United States; San Francisco, California. Contract duration: 5 months.

Salary: $65–$70 per hour

What you will do

• Create and update documentation for Salesforce AgentExchange.
• Develop, write, edit, and format technical manuals, installation guides, user manuals, and business process documentation.
• Produce user interface text, online help, developer guides, and other user assistance materials.
• Apply documentation format, content, and style guidelines while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality.
• Collaborate with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and usability experts.
• Use technical communication tools and Agile methodologies to deliver documentation.

Requirements

• 6–8 years of technical writing experience.
• Proven experience as a Grade IV Technical Writer, including self-directed research and team collaboration.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using AI tools for content creation and editing.
• Ability to create user-friendly documentation that simplifies complex technical concepts.
• Ability to work remotely from the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with software app stores as an app store team member or software developer.
• Ability to learn Salesforce-specific content tooling.
