Entry Level API with one or more API Cert (510/570/653) - Portland, OR (57590)

Location: Portland, Oregon; local candidates or candidates willing to relocate to Portland, Oregon. The role is onsite and supports the Portland office. Applicants must qualify as U.S. Persons under ITAR requirements.

What you will do

• Inspect tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and related components for compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support quality control and compliance activities at industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, and plant sites.
• Recommend repairs and alterations to tanks, pressure vessels, piping, and other equipment.
• Prepare reports documenting inspection assessments and results.
• Identify process improvements and work independently in varied industrial environments.

Requirements

• Hold a current API 510, API 570, and/or API 653 certification.
• Have industrial inspection, operations and maintenance, plant engineering, or steel fabrication experience.
• Be willing and able to work at heights, in confined spaces, outdoors, and around operating equipment.
• Be willing to work odd hours, overtime, varying schedules, shifts of up to 12 hours, and occasional extended travel.
• Have strong written and verbal communication, organizational, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Be local to Portland or willing to relocate; qualify as a U.S. Person for ITAR-controlled information. A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and successful drug screen are required.
