Manager-Quality Control (Treating)

Location: Onsite in Odessa, Texas, United States. Work takes place in an office and fabrication shop, with production-area inspections, occasional travel, and after-hours or weekend emergency response.

What you will do

• Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System for gas treating product manufacturing.
• Maintain QMS documentation, QA/QC plans, inspections, audits, testing, product release, and CAPA processes.
• Manage supplier and customer quality activities, vendor performance reporting, quality personnel, training, and budgets.
• Lead root cause investigations and resolve nonconformities across fabrication and manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, codes, standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Coordinate quality assurance activities with customers, vendors, and hirify.global Treating management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applied science, engineering, quality management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.
• Working knowledge of NBIC and/or API 510 and ASME Section VIII is required.
• At least 5 years of QA/QC experience in ASME-code fabrication and manufacturing environments, including B31.3 and Section VIII, Division 1.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, API Q1, ASME, NBIC, pressure vessels, piping, skid fabrication, quality system audits, and oil and gas manufacturing operations.
• A valid driver’s license is required. Ability to wear PPE, work in confined spaces, climb, bend, kneel, lift up to 20 pounds, and respond to operational issues at any hour is also required.
