Location: Remote within the United States; 30–50% travel required, including international travel.

Salary: $370,000–$390,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses.

What you will do

  • Support the NNSA UK Team Lead and W93 Federal Program Manager on W93/UK Replacement Warhead initiatives.
  • Provide technical, program, and project management support while coordinating with NNSA, DoD, U.S. Navy, UK Program, and Defense Programs organizations.
  • Plan and execute joint US/UK warhead research, design, development, production, modification, surveillance, safety, and dismantlement activities.
  • Assess capability and capacity needs across the NNSA Nuclear Weapons Complex and coordinate facility and resource planning.
  • Guide the development of policies, requirements, and procedures for UK program compatibility assessment, qualification, production, and procurement.
  • Ensure nuclear weapons complex integration and delivery of commitments to NNSA, U.S. Navy, and UK senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or science; a degree in business or project/program management may be considered with relevant experience.
  • Active Q or Top Secret security clearance required.
  • 15 or more years of technical experience in weapons or nuclear weapons and delivery platforms, including program/project management or systems engineering.
  • Experience with nuclear weapons system sustainment or acquisition, including international programs.
  • Technical knowledge of nuclear weapons, ideally submarine-launched ballistic missile systems.
  • Experience coordinating NNSA/DOE, national laboratories, nuclear production agencies, and DoD stakeholders.
