Level II Radiographers and RT Assistants (NDT)

Location: Portland, Oregon, United States. U.S. Persons only due to ITAR export-control requirements.

What you will do

• Perform radiographic testing examinations in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
• Set up and operate NDT equipment for radiographic inspections, including DR and CR imaging systems.
• Prepare components and equipment for inspections and support certified technicians during projects.
• Determine work scope and priorities with department managers, clients, and site personnel.
• Prepare written instructions, document training, and organize and report examination results.
• Follow company and client safety programs while working with radiation, hazardous materials, confined spaces, heights, and industrial equipment.

Requirements

• Level II Radiographers must provide documented education, training, and experience in applicable NDT methods; RT Assistants need a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of industrial environments and general manufacturing processes.
• Documented experience with DR and/or CR X-ray imaging and processing.
• State or IRRSP card required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, computer data-entry and report-writing skills, a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record.
• U.S. Person status is required; applicants must pass a drug screen and be able to comply with ITAR requirements.

Nice to have

• Prior NDT classroom training or on-the-job training experience.
• Additional NDT certifications.
• Completion of a 40-hour radiation safety course.
