What you will do

• Set up and operate brake presses to form parts according to blueprints, work instructions, and production procedures.
• Read blueprints, work operation sheets, travelers, process specifications, sketches, and supervisor instructions.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, squares, height gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Complete production paperwork and enter required information into the company database.
• Learn to operate other shop equipment and perform additional machining and inspection tasks as needed.
• Work with the department to ensure products meet company standards and comply with applicable policies and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Metal fabrication experience is preferred; training is available.
• Blueprint reading and experience working with ±0.010-inch tolerances are preferred.
• Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring tools is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, attention to detail, advanced problem-solving skills, and intermediate mathematical ability.
• Reliable, flexible, self-starting team player able to work with little or no supervision.
