Technical Delivery Manager (Cloud & Data Centre)

Location: Ipswich, United Kingdom; hybrid 3:2 working model. Successful candidates must be eligible and willing to obtain the required security clearance.

Salary: £45,000–£65,000 per year, plus BT benefits and a 10% target annual bonus.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects in secure customer environments.
• Coordinate infrastructure, applications, support, design, and other technical workstreams.
• Translate customer requirements into delivery plans, timelines, dependencies, and milestones.
• Manage project risks, issues, governance, reporting, and contractual commitments.
• Lead delivery through virtual teams and third-party stakeholders while managing customer expectations.
• Support cloud and data centre delivery, service transition, operational readiness, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Experience in technical project or technical delivery management within matrix environments.
• Experience delivering infrastructure, cloud, hosting, or data centre-related projects.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, organisation, planning, and commercial awareness.
• Experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, governance processes, and multiple delivery methodologies.
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain the required security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience in secure or highly regulated environments.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, modern infrastructure platforms, information security, and compliance.
• Experience with government, defence, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure customers.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies and large-scale technology programmes.
• Knowledge of service transition and operational readiness processes.
