Delivery Lead (Technology)

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of priority technology workstreams from discovery and mobilisation through implementation, transition, and benefits review.
• Align Technology, Product, Data, Security, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and business stakeholders on outcomes, scope, milestones, responsibilities, and decisions.
• Maintain integrated plans covering dependencies, constraints, critical paths, resource conflicts, risks, issues, and blockers.
• Establish delivery cadences and produce evidence-based reporting on progress, forecasts, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and confidence levels.
• Lead and coach a small team of Delivery Managers and Business Analysts while building shared delivery methods, templates, and quality standards.
• Identify systemic delivery friction and improve governance, decision-making, hand-offs, procurement, resourcing, assurance, and reuse of lessons learned.

Requirements

• Substantial experience leading complex technology delivery across multiple functions, teams, and dependencies.
• Proven people leadership experience with Delivery Managers, Project Managers, and/or Business Analysts.
• Strong knowledge of delivery planning, governance, risk and issue management, dependency management, financial awareness, and senior-level reporting.
• Experience with business analysis and requirements management, including translating ambiguous needs into testable outcomes and acceptance criteria.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders, facilitating difficult conversations, and securing timely decisions.
• Understanding of the technology delivery lifecycle across architecture, engineering, testing, security, data, release, service transition, and adoption; familiarity with agile ways of working.
