Engineering Manager, Core Platform (IoT)

Annual pay range: $200,000–$285,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead Core Platform projects affecting the Command product across frontend and backend engineering.
• Write code and prototype new features when needed.
• Work with Product and Design to build and ship polished user experiences.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to define goals, priorities, processes, and execution plans.
• Drive coding standards, development methodologies, and maintainable software practices.
• Support continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and career development within the web engineering team.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing, leading, hiring, retaining, and developing engineering teams.
• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with both frontend and backend development.
• Experience working in an agile software development environment.
• Working knowledge of at least one server-side framework and one database system.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, plus strong attention to product design and detail.
