Sr. Director, Data Feeds & Inbound Data Strategy (Healthcare Data)

Location: New York, United States; Workplace: Hybrid

Salary: $190,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity in the form of Restricted Stock Units.

What you will do

• Own the roadmap and strategy for data feeds and inbound data capabilities, prioritizing ingestion based on user and business needs.
• Partner with engineering on feed architecture, schema design, field-level documentation, and QA methodology.
• Author and govern data dictionaries, feed specifications, and ingestion standards.
• Use SQL to investigate data quality issues, validate feed outputs, and profile datasets.
• Lead resolution of data quality, delivery, and integrity issues.
• Translate complex data architecture and feed logic for executive, commercial, cross-functional, and client-facing audiences.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in product management, data product management, or data operations, including at least 3 years at director level or above.
• Experience owning data feed strategy, ingestion architecture, or structured data delivery in a B2B healthcare or life sciences data environment.
• Hands-on proficiency with complex SQL queries, including writing, debugging, and interpretation.
• Experience with healthcare data such as clinical or medical data, NPI, HCP/HCO identifiers, specialty taxonomies, claims, and unstructured content.
• Ability to use AI tools such as Claude or OpenAI daily and apply them to business use cases.
• Experience governing data dictionaries, field-level documentation, feed specifications, and cross-functional stakeholder relationships.

Nice to have

• Experience with Medical Affairs or Clinical Research.
• Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, or equivalent data pipeline and orchestration tools.
• Experience building or scaling a data feed function from an early stage.
