Business Intelligence Developer / Python Streamlit Developer (Python Streamlit)

Location: Remote, Mexico; candidates must be physically located in and plan to work from Mexico City (CDMX) or Mexico State (Estado de Mexico)

What you will do

• Design and develop an internal Python library for standardized Streamlit application development.
• Create reusable UI components, layout templates, and AI/LLM wrappers for internal data applications.
• Apply version control, package distribution, documentation, and automated testing practices to the internal framework.
• Support and update legacy dashboards built with Tableau and Looker.
• Maintain the stability and uptime of existing data systems while transitioning workloads to Streamlit tools.
• Help the dbt team define scopes and requirements for updating existing data pipelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Python.
• 2+ years of database experience and 2+ years of SQL experience.
• At least 1 year of data engineering experience.
• At least 1 year of developing with support from AI coding agents.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and applying software development best practices.
• Physical presence in and planned work from Mexico City or Mexico State is required.

Nice to have

• Streamlit experience.
• AI agent skills development.
• Dashboard development and data visualization experience.
• Snowflake or other data platforms, including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• dbt, machine learning, artificial intelligence, Tableau, or Looker experience.
