What you will do

• Engage with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical specifications.
• Own the full lifecycle of data products from ingestion and modeling to delivery and monitoring.
• Design and implement robust data transformation layers and validation processes.
• Collaborate with AI teams to prepare structured data and models for intelligent reporting.
• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines using SQL and Python.
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and challenge existing requirements to drive innovation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering role at senior level.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery or similar cloud data warehouses.
• Strong ability to validate data results from a business perspective.
• Advanced/fluent English proficiency for international stakeholder communication.
• Must be based in Colombia.

Nice to have

• Experience with dbt for transformation and orchestration.
• Familiarity with Airbyte or Airflow.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing for data pipelines.
• Experience in Supply Chain, Retail, or Consumer Goods industries.
• Experience preparing data for generative AI or conversational analytics.
