CEI Senior Bridge Inspector

Location: Onsite in West Palm Beach, Miami, or Fort Lauderdale, Florida

What you will do

• Inspect roadway and bridge construction activities onsite.
• Monitor construction work and verify compliance with contract documents.
• Conduct inspections, observations, field tests, and materials testing.
• Supervise the day-to-day activities of inspection staff.
• Review inspection reports and prepare summary reports covering construction activities.
• Maintain detailed daily operation records and support final estimate documentation.

Requirements

• At least four years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Required certifications include CTQP Final Estimates Level I; CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I; CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges); CTQP Asphalt Roadway Levels I and II; CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Levels I and II; CTQP Pile Driving Inspection; CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection; FDOT Intermediate MOT; IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I; Nuclear Radiation Safety; and Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control training and certification.
• Ability to work onsite outdoors in heat, humidity, noise, hazardous and atmospheric conditions, and near bodies of water.
• Ability to perform frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, and handling, including occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 35 pounds.
