IT Functional Analyst (Laboratory Operations)

Location: Santa Clara, CA, United States; onsite role

Salary: $115,000–$158,500 per year

What you will do

• Support enterprise laboratory operations, workflow management, asset tracking, scheduling, and operational systems.
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories.
• Coordinate system enhancements, user acceptance testing, production deployments, incident management, and service requests.
• Support laboratory mobility solutions, including tablets, mobile devices, barcode technologies, printers, and peripherals.
• Coordinate equipment-to-application integrations, automated data collection, laboratory equipment onboarding, and automation workflow troubleshooting.
• Support application security, access management, compliance reviews, issue triage, and operational improvements across multiple regions and time zones.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Application Analyst.
• Experience supporting enterprise business applications and operational systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and working with global, cross-functional teams.
• Regular onsite work in Santa Clara, CA is required; relocation is not eligible.

Nice to have

• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, laboratory, or operational technology environments.
• Knowledge of asset management, workflow management, inventory tracking, mobile devices, printers, barcode technologies, or peripheral integrations.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, Jira, and enterprise integrations involving ERP or asset management systems.
