Sr Commercial Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance

Location: Houston, TX; this position is available at Huntington Bank corporate office locations.

Salary: $70,000–$161,000 annual base salary, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze and monitor the creditworthiness of assigned commercial customers and accounts.
• Underwrite new and existing loans by reviewing applications, financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and other documentation.
• Spread business and personal financial statements using Moody's software and evaluate multi-year trends and ratios.
• Analyze operating cash flow, industry trends, credit risks, and collateral including accounts receivable, inventory, real estate, and investments.
• Prepare approval recommendations and alternative loan structures while monitoring delinquency and repossession activity.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to less experienced analysts and lead special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
• Experience structuring and underwriting commercial credit.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer service orientation.
