Sr Commercial Portfolio Manager - Equipment Finance

Location: Houston, TX; office-based. The position may be filled at any Huntington Bank corporate office location.

Salary: $70,000–$161,000 annual base compensation, plus eligibility for applicable incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Analyze and monitor the creditworthiness of assigned commercial customers and recommend or approve credit within established guidelines.
• Underwrite new and existing loans by reviewing applications, financial statements, tax returns, credit reports, and KYC information.
• Spread business and personal financial statements using Moody's software and analyze multi-year trends and ratios.
• Evaluate operating cash flow, industry trends and risks, and collateral including accounts receivable, inventory, real estate, and investments.
• Monitor delinquency trends and repossession activity with other areas and prepare loan approval or alternate-structure recommendations.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced analysts and lead special projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in commercial credit underwriting.
