Senior Finance Manager - Innovation

Base pay: $142,636–$171,336 annually

What you will do

• Lead financial evaluation of the innovation pipeline from concept through commercialization and present recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain innovation P&Ls, business cases, investment recommendations, and financial decision frameworks.
• Assess profitability, margin structure, volume assumptions, return on investment, risks, sensitivities, and key assumptions for new products.
• Partner with Marketing, Innovation, Operations, R&D, Supply Chain, RGM, and Commercial teams to incorporate financial considerations early in development.
• Support stage-gate reviews, executive decision-making, portfolio trade-offs, resource allocation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Provide guidance, direction, and developmental leadership to direct reports while driving change management and influencing business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive Finance experience, ideally in CPG or brand-focused roles.
• Strong analytical skills and deep understanding of P&L management.
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Direct people-management experience; the role has direct reports.

Nice to have

• MBA or CPA.
• Experience with Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or similar systems.
