Civil Superintendent (Data Centers)

Location: On-site full-time at an active Giga data center construction site; the specific location depends on current project needs.

What you will do

• Supervise earthwork, grading, underground utilities, foundations, and site concrete.
• Coordinate civil subcontractors, sequencing, manpower, materials, and schedule performance.
• Enforce safety standards through site walks and toolbox talks.
• Inspect work against drawings, specifications, geotechnical reports, and applicable codes.
• Maintain daily logs, track progress, identify risks, and resolve field-level trade conflicts.
• Coordinate with surveyors, Construction Managers, Project Managers, engineers, and subcontractors through quality control and punch-list closeout.

Requirements

• 7+ years of civil construction experience, including at least 3+ years in a superintendent or equivalent field leadership role.
• Experience with large-scale industrial, utility, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of grading, earthwork, underground utilities, and site concrete.
• Ability to interpret civil drawings, specifications, and geotechnical reports.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Proven subcontractor management, schedule accountability, quality control, and cross-trade communication skills.

Nice to have

• Data center or other mission-critical facility construction experience.
• Heavy civil experience related to utility interconnection or substation work.
• Familiarity with P&IDs and site electrical infrastructure coordination.
