Chief MS&A Engineer

What you will do

• Define the technical strategy, architecture, roadmap, and analytical priorities for modeling, simulation, and mission engineering activities.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams of systems engineers, modeling and simulation engineers, software engineers, and mission analysts.
• Develop mission-level and system-level models and simulations for missile, space, IAMD, aerospace, and advanced weapon-system analysis.
• Build integrated workflows covering scenario generation, model execution, data processing, optimization, visualization, and results assessment.
• Lead trade-space exploration, sensitivity analysis, optimization, Monte Carlo analysis, DOE, and model verification and validation.
• Integrate engineering tools and data sources through APIs, adapters, interfaces, messaging frameworks, containers, and cloud or on-premises deployments.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or PhD in aerospace engineering, systems engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, physics, applied mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in systems engineering, modeling and simulation, digital engineering, or mission engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams supporting missile, space, IAMD, aerospace, or weapon-system modeling and analysis.
• Experience developing technical artifacts including requirements, CONOPS, mission threads, system architectures, analytical plans, interface definitions, test plans, and analysis reports.
• Experience with Agile software development and DevSecOps environments, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and authorization to work in the United States are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with missile defense, hypersonics, strategic systems, space systems, IAMD, or advanced weapon-system programs.
• Experience with STK Astrogator, STK Analyzer, STK EOIR, AFSIM, or other mission-level constructive simulation environments.
• Experience with digital mission engineering workflows connecting MBSE, physics-based models, mission simulations, and analytical results.
• Experience with model credibility assessment, uncertainty quantification, HPC, distributed simulation execution, or AI/ML for simulation and mission analysis.
