What you will do

• Originate, acquire, and market high-quality residential mortgage loans.
• Use conventional, VA construction, and in-house portfolio lending products to structure complex loans.
• Build and maintain referral relationships with Realtors, builders, financial planners, and local professionals.
• Develop creative marketing strategies to generate new mortgage business and meet sales goals.
• Provide informed member service, cross-sell credit union products, and analyze loan documentation accurately.
• Structure loans in accordance with member needs, lending policies, investor guidelines, and federal and state requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator with proven external sales experience.
• Strong ability to build and maintain high-quality referral networks.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Solid understanding of agency and investor guidelines.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the team.

Nice to have

• College degree preferred but not required.
