Senior IT Engineer - Cisco/Juniper

Location: Remote work limited to Ohio, with listed sites at BLOM Administrative Campus in Columbus, Ohio.

What you will do

• Manage daily operational activities for network and related IT infrastructure components.
• Coordinate crisis management, support escalations, change management, release management, and capacity management using ITIL processes.
• Develop and implement technology strategies, standards, roadmaps, and supporting documentation.
• Research, plan, justify, and coordinate administrative, operational, and financial initiatives, including optimization and total cost of ownership analysis.
• Manage supplier outcomes, performance dashboards, reporting metrics, and service quality.
• Plan, monitor, and control operating and capital budgets for assigned areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer or management information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of technical engineering experience, including participation in process improvement or project work.
• Advanced knowledge of IT technologies including network, endpoint, server, security, storage, and telecom systems.
• In-depth experience with Cisco and Juniper wired and wireless technologies, including Cisco Prime and Juniper Mist Edge, as well as SD-WAN, IP routing, switching, and related network technologies.
• Experience designing and documenting complex systems with attention to scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, collaboration, and project management skills.

• Network architecture and enterprise-level IT project experience in the healthcare industry.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and influencing architecture decisions.
• Experience driving people, process, and technology changes in a highly matrixed environment.
