Founding Backend Engineer (Web3): Building and owning core backend infrastructure for a decentralised and crypto ecosystem platform with an accent on scalable APIs, distributed systems, and backend architecture. Focus on making key architectural decisions, building reliable systems, and scaling transaction and trading volumes.

Location: Remote / Global

Salary: Up to $220k per year

What you will do

  • Build and own core backend infrastructure from the ground up.
  • Make architectural decisions across the platform.
  • Work with the founders to shape the technical roadmap.
  • Build highly scalable and reliable systems.
  • Scale the platform to significant transaction and trading volumes.

Requirements

  • Strong backend engineering experience in production environments.
  • Experience with scalable APIs and distributed systems.
  • Experience owning architecture and critical infrastructure.
  • Ability to work autonomously in an early-stage environment.

Nice to have

  • Web3, crypto, trading, or fintech experience.
