Salary: $140,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Design and develop ledger and payments services to accurately record crypto and fiat money movements.
• Build bank settlement and reconciliation pipelines connecting the platform to external payment rails and banking partners.
• Implement software safeguards to ensure correctness, consistency, and operational reliability in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with finance and treasury teams to translate real-world workflows into robust, auditable system behavior.
• Develop scalable APIs and data models to support new transaction types and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor teammates and participate in on-call rotations to maintain system health.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building backend systems in a production environment.
• Strong expertise in designing and operating distributed, stateful systems where data integrity is critical.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (Scala and Go are primarily used).
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with ledger systems, accounting platforms, or payments infrastructure.
• Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping, reconciliation processes, and audit requirements.
• Experience integrating with external payment rails (ACH, wire, card networks).
• Familiarity with workflow orchestration systems like Temporal or Cadence.
• Background in fintech or financial services.
