Purchaser/Procurement Engineer (Manufacturing)

hirify.global operates in an industrial manufacturing environment requiring local and overseas supplier management and procurement engineering.

What you will do

• Manage daily purchasing activities for local and overseas suppliers while ensuring quality, cost, delivery, and availability requirements.
• Lead supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, agreements, performance reviews, and supplier development activities.
• Evaluate technical requirements, drawings, specifications, manufacturing processes, materials, and sourcing alternatives.
• Support localization initiatives, make-or-buy analysis, cost breakdowns, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Maintain item, supplier, sourcing, contract, and purchasing information in ERP systems.
• Track purchasing costs, lead times, supplier KPIs, procurement reports, and continuous improvement actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain within manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand technical and manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of machining, casting, forging, welding, and fabrication processes.
• Experience with supplier sourcing, technical evaluation, supplier development, cost analysis, RFQ/RFP processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP, LN, Compass, Oracle, or similar; good written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
