What you will do
- Create, maintain, and update bill of materials, routing, and master data in the ERP system.
- Learn how products are structured, designed, costed, and manufactured.
- Support quotation activities through material, labour, and manufacturing cost evaluations.
- Use Autodesk Inventor to create 3D models, sales drawings, and manufacturing technical drawings.
- Translate customer-specific requirements into practical technical designs and manufacturing solutions.
- Work with engineering and production teams to improve data quality, resolve inaccuracies, and manage changes.
Requirements
- GCSE Grade A–C or 4–7, or equivalent, in English, Mathematics, and Science.
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
- Interest in CAD design and 3D modelling.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, collaboration, reliability, and problem-solving skills.
- No prior engineering experience is required, but willingness to learn and commitment to continuous improvement are essential.
Nice to have
- A-Level qualifications in Engineering, Physics, or similar technical subjects.
- Experience with CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD.
- Understanding of technical drawings or blueprints.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
