Salary: $59,200–$98,600 per year; geographic differentials may apply.

What you will do

• Develop and foster partnerships with editorial, production, marketing, press, and advertising teams.
• Evaluate manuscript submissions to ensure the quality and value of the journal.
• Help develop a broad, impactful, topical, and cohesive physical science journal.
• Build relationships with leading researchers to attract influential article submissions.
• Attend relevant conferences and visit leading research institutes.
• Support the wider research ecosystem across Cell Press.

Requirements

• Proven research expertise relevant to physical science.
• Material science background is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to network and communicate effectively with national and international researchers.
• Conceptual and critical thinking across a wide range of scientific issues.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
