What you will do

• Develop enzyme-based conjugation technologies and site-specific protein modification approaches.
• Design and optimize antibody-drug conjugates involving antibodies, linkers, payloads, and conjugation strategies.
• Perform enzyme screening and engineering for bioconjugation reaction discovery and optimization.
• Characterize proteins using LC-MS, HPLC, SEC, peptide mapping, and related analytical methods.
• Assess developability, manufacturability, and CMC considerations for bioconjugates.
• Build scientific collaborations across functions, sites, disciplines, and external networks.

Requirements

• PhD, postdoctoral training, or equivalent research and development experience in organic chemistry, biochemistry, biology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in enzyme-based conjugation technologies and site-specific protein modification.
• Strong understanding of antibody-drug conjugate design principles.
• Experience with protein characterization and analytical techniques including LC-MS, HPLC, SEC, or peptide mapping.
• Proven scientific research record supported by peer-reviewed publications.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken, is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of emerging modalities and conjugation technologies.
• Experience with developability assessments, manufacturability considerations, and CMC requirements for bioconjugates.
