Associate Formulations Scientist

Location: San Diego, California, USA; candidates should be within commuting distance of La Jolla, California. Full-time onsite schedule, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with occasional overtime.

Salary: USD 52,000–56,000 per year. An additional compensation range of USD 52,000–58,000 is also stated.

What you will do

• Conduct quantitative analytical HPLC experiments and routine formulation laboratory studies.
• Perform DSC, PXRD spectroscopy, solubility determinations, dissolution testing, and suspension processing.
• Complete laboratory work in a timely and productive manner while maintaining consistent quality.
• Follow procedures reliably and identify and escalate relevant laboratory issues.
• Work independently and collaboratively using client quality systems and laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• At least 2 years of quantitative analytical HPLC experience.
• At least 2 years of related laboratory experience.
• Authorization to work indefinitely in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Self-motivation, adaptability, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
