CNC Operator Milling, 2nd Shift (Medical Device Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate assigned CNC milling machines to produce parts to mechanical engineering drawing specifications.
• Measure, inspect, and load or unload small parts from CNC machines.
• Perform basic machine changeovers and implement dimensional offsets as instructed.
• Complete quality control documentation and inspection sheets accurately.
• Work with machine operators and management to follow inspection techniques, SOPs, good manufacturing practices, and safety regulations.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and medical device industry codes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to perform visual inspections of small parts using a microscope.
• Ability to work independently, organize multiple tasks, and collaborate effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Nice to have

• Intermediate mathematics skills, including geometric and trigonometric formulas.
