Senior Manufacturing Technician (Biologics)

Location: Framingham, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 12-hour rotating schedule

What you will do

• Operate production equipment and perform processing steps in a large-scale cGMP biologics facility.
• Follow manufacturing instructions, current GMPs, SOPs, and written or verbal procedures while completing production documentation accurately.
• Maintain safe, clean, orderly, and adequately stocked production areas.
• Perform SOP revisions, work order generation, in-process analytical testing, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Use manufacturing automation systems, including INFOR, MES, ERP, and DeltaV.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Manufacturing Engineering, MSIT, Validation, and other support functions; mentor less experienced operators.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in a cGxP manufacturing environment, or a biotech certificate or associate degree with no prior experience.
• Understanding of GMP requirements and their application to manufacturing responsibilities.
• Knowledge and practical use of aseptic techniques.
• Ability to operate production processes and perform in-process testing.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office applications and troubleshoot basic mechanical operations.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology.
• Experience using process automation systems such as DeltaV.
