TL;DR
Business Analyst (Enterprise Modernization): Supporting enterprise modernization initiatives by eliciting requirements, mapping business processes, and documenting functional solutions with an accent on requirements traceability, process documentation, and User Acceptance Testing. Focus on translating stakeholder needs into actionable project artifacts, preparing UAT scenarios, tracking defects, and supporting implementation and change adoption.
Location: Hybrid in the United States; must reside within 50 miles of the primary work location and attend occasional onsite meetings.

What you will do
- Elicit and clarify business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, research, and documentation reviews.
- Translate stakeholder input into process diagrams, user stories, business rules, functional descriptions, and requirements summaries.
- Maintain requirements traceability matrices throughout the project delivery lifecycle.
- Prepare and execute UAT scenarios and test cases, document validation results, and track defect resolution.
- Support implementation through training guides, job aids, rollout feedback, and change adoption activities.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise IT, software implementation, or system modernization projects.
- Demonstrated ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Hands-on experience with current-state and future-state process flows, user stories, and standard operating procedures.
- Experience preparing and executing UAT test cases and documenting defects.
- Strong requirements management and traceability skills across the software development lifecycle.
- Residence within 50 miles of the primary work location and availability for occasional onsite meetings are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with large-scale modernization programs in government, public-sector, or regulated environments.
- Knowledge of data governance, data privacy, and security practices.
- Exposure to relational databases or cloud-based data platforms.
- Experience facilitating cross-functional workshops and consensus-building sessions.
