Director, Product Management, EMS Patient Charting Solutions (Healthcare IT)

Location: Remote within the United States, with up to 25% travel

Annual salary: $174,900–$200,000, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.

What you will do

• Define and implement the product strategy and roadmap for the EMS patient charting software portfolio.
• Build customer relationships, conduct market research, and identify opportunities for current and future products.
• Lead the development and launch of revenue-generating, customer-driven software products across the full product lifecycle.
• Own portfolio P&L, market segmentation, pricing strategy, competitive positioning, and the company-wide go-to-market plan.
• Collaborate with engineering, site reliability, marketing, finance, support, implementation, sales, and device organizations.
• Directly oversee product managers and product owners.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience working in R&D within a software technology organization.
• At least 3 years of experience leading high-performing teams.
• Advanced understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile and waterfall methodologies, and a DevOps mindset.
• Understanding of the EMS software and broader clinical charting markets.
• Strong business, financial, technical, analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to translate customer problems into solutions and collaborate across functional disciplines.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering solutions in Digital Health or Healthcare IT.
• Experience setting pricing strategy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering subject.
