Supervisor, Assembly and Laser (MedTech)

What you will do

• Directly supervise employees across one or more Assembly and Laser departments.
• Lead daily tier board meetings covering safety, quality, production, and cost objectives.
• Implement manufacturing principles, standard work, efficiency improvements, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Manage employee performance through feedback, coaching, development, and accountability.
• Plan production schedules, staffing, workflows, equipment layouts, and asset utilization for high-volume component production.
• Coordinate machining methods, tooling, machine programming, quality initiatives, preventive maintenance, vendors, and cross-functional manufacturing activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience in a highly regulated industry and 5+ years in leadership roles.
• 5+ years of experience leading and implementing change in a manufacturing environment.
• Detailed experience machining steel, titanium, plastics, and polymers.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing principles, process and material flow, statistical analysis, problem-solving, and project management.
• Proficiency with computer systems and Microsoft Office, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
