Lead Assembler (Medical Devices)

Location: Irvine, California; onsite, second shift

Salary: $30.50 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate HNE employee work, assign labor and workstations, and manage MAR operator assignments to meet production requirements.
• Control production shift schedules, optimize material and product flow, and adjust staffing, supplies, and machine operation to meet daily build plans.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, EHS, regulatory requirements, product specifications, and quality procedures.
• Communicate with customer and support departments about product or process issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, value stream mapping, and related methodologies.
• Assist with root cause analysis, investigations, procedure updates, and documentation of safety, quality, and operational issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma and experience consistent with department process or product requirements.
• Prior experience with mechanical and electrical equipment, including troubleshooting.
• Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of corporate specifications, plant standard operating procedures, and bill of materials processes.
• Ability to pass a visual acuity test with 20/20 corrected vision and Particulate Matter Certification.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available.
