Manager, Shift- Nights

Location: Onsite in Lexington, Massachusetts / Clayton, North Carolina, United States; the role requires working in a manufacturing facility and being on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours.

hirify.global presents an opportunity with Novo Nordisk’s Product Supply Aseptic Manufacturing facility, producing injectable diabetes and obesity treatments.

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and mentor shift process teams to execute production plans.
• Create a safe, productive, and engaging workplace while meeting quality, customer, and business objectives.
• Direct, prioritize, and motivate shift team members across work cells, operations, quality improvement, processes, and technical areas.
• Manage personnel matters, employment decisions, vacation planning, and individual development plans.
• Perform process confirmation to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and requirements.
• Collaborate across shifts to standardize processes and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical manufacturing; equivalent combinations of an associate degree or high school diploma/GED with additional experience may be considered.
• At least three years of direct supervisory experience, unless an internal candidate has completed the Novo Nordisk leadership talent development program.
• Ability to read, write, and understand complex product documentation and standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access; experience with PLCs is relevant.
• Demonstrated systematic problem-solving and decision-making experience.
• Ability to work around hazardous materials, loud noise, elevated heights, confined spaces, and other manufacturing conditions, with required protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Two years of aseptic processing experience for aseptic production roles.
• Experience with PAS-X.
• Experience with process improvement, Lean manufacturing tools, or Six Sigma methodologies.
