What you will do
- Prepare and compile federal documents required to discharge foreign cargo at domestic ports.
- Serve as a point of contact for existing and new customers.
- Arrange daily customs clearance and monitor customs broker procedures and reports.
- Implement standard operating procedures according to customer-specific requirements.
- Coordinate system data entry and verification with documentation coordinators.
- Prepare invoices, check costs and jobs, close completed jobs, and support customer meetings.
Requirements
- Ability to manage customs clearance documentation and related procedures.
- Accuracy in system data entry, job checking, cost verification, and invoicing.
- Ability to coordinate with customers, customs brokers, carriers, and internal documentation teams.
- Ability to follow customer-specific standard operating procedures.
