Delivery Coordinator (Logistics)

Location: Ellenwood, GA, United States. Onsite coordination of containerized cargo deliveries between ports, rail and warehouse locations, and customer delivery sites.

What you will do

• Schedule and manage daily drayage plans for inbound containers delivered to customer distribution centers and related facilities.
• Coordinate delivery appointments, shipment milestones, visibility updates, exception resolution, and customer communications.
• Produce operational reports covering volume forecasts, terminal arrivals, delivery schedules, load locations, and empty containers.
• Conduct operations calls with drayage partners, delivery locations, customers, and internal teams while maintaining timely email communication.
• Build relationships with facility operations, trucking companies, onsite employees, warehouses, terminals, and other vendors.
• Monitor compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and government regulations, including FMC and Denied Party Screening requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Clear understanding of high-volume container movement between ports, inland depots, customer distribution centers, and final consumption points.
• Effective interpersonal skills, including listening, comprehension, and clear, concise communication.
• Proactive approach and strong organizational skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English.
