Air Export Operations Agent (Logistics)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT, United States. Onsite, Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–7:00 pm; 40 hours per week.

Salary: USD 26–28 per hour.

What you will do

• Execute international air export shipments from origin through final destination while meeting KPI and quality standards.
• Use AEX Workboard, Export ETMS, and operational systems to maintain accurate shipment records and manage milestones.
• Prepare, validate, and manage MAWB, HAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, and other shipment documentation.
• Coordinate with customers, overseas offices, gateways, airlines, trucking providers, customs brokers, and internal departments.
• Provide shipment updates, manage delays and exceptions, escalate service failures, and drive corrective actions.
• Complete invoicing, vendor costing, profitability management, compliance reviews, audits, and shipment file maintenance.

Requirements

• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Compliance with TSA, IATA, FAA, EAR, dangerous goods, export control, safety, and security requirements.

Nice to have

• Air freight forwarding experience.
• IATA or FIATA certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, supply chain, or customer service; experience is preferred but not required.
