What you will do

• Load, transport, and deliver mini bulk and bulk chemicals safely and efficiently.
• Verify materials, concentrations, paperwork, and delivery reports against company and DOT requirements.
• Operate trucks responsibly while complying with DOT rules and chemical-handling procedures.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance on trailers, process equipment, customer tanks, and vent traps.
• Report spills and other safety issues immediately to the Operations Supervisor or Operations Manager.
• Maintain a professional appearance and keep the assigned tractor and trailer clean.

Requirements

• At least five years of full-time Class A equivalent driving experience in liquid transport.
• At least five years of experience hauling tanker loads of hazardous chemicals.
• Current hazardous-material and tanker endorsements as required by law.
• Ability to work safely with corrosive chemicals and use required personal protective equipment, including a full-face respirator when necessary.
• Must be at least 25 years old and complete a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must complete chemical-handling and safety training and maintain annual OSHA Hazmat Emergency Responder Technician certification.
