Hazardous Materials Receiving & Issue Specialist (HazMat Logistics)

Location: On-site at the client site, 1741 Marshall Road, Fort Bliss, Texas, United States; generally across the CONUS Southwest Region.

What you will do

• Receive, inspect, verify, store, and issue hazardous materials.
• Process same-day HMID and GCSS-Army transactions and maintain supply accountability.
• Validate hazardous-material labeling and compatibility, documentation, and dual-signature issue controls.
• Administer GCSS-Army user roles and permissions and manage hazardous material master data.
• Troubleshoot system issues and support reporting, audits, and inventory control.
• Maintain accurate issue workflows, including avoiding zero balances in authorized stockage lists and supporting seven-day storage limits.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; an associate degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of supply or warehouse experience.
• Experience with inventory processing, barcode scanning, hazardous labeling, and disciplined transaction entry.
• GCSS-Army certification is desirable; Army logistics or GCSS-Army experience is preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required, and visa sponsorship is not available.
• Operational accuracy, timeliness, safety awareness, accountability, communication, and organizational skills.
