Hazardous Materials Storage & Inventory Control Specialist (HAZMAT Logistics)

Location: On-site at 1741 Marshall Road, Fort Bliss, Texas 79916, United States; generally located across the CONUS Fort Bliss area and the Southwest region.

What you will do

• Manage the receipt, storage, tracking, and compliant sustainment of hazardous materials.
• Maintain storage segregation and compatibility standards for hazardous materials.
• Conduct cyclic inventories, shelf-life rotation, and inventory reconciliation.
• Implement the DoD Shelf-Life Extension Program and perform causative research on discrepancies.
• Provide senior-level oversight, performance analysis, policy compliance support, and strategic planning for HAZMAT operations.
• Lead audits, corrective-action initiatives, redistribution tracking, and warehouse inspection readiness.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of inventory management experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Army supply environment.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in logistics or supply chain; equivalent Army logistics experience accepted.
• Experience with inventory control, shelf-life rotation, compatibility management, audit preparation, data reconciliation, and compliance.
• Must be a United States citizen; H-1B and TN visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business tools.
