What you will do

• Prepare and submit import and export customs declarations and verify invoices, packing lists, and supporting documentation.
• Classify goods using Harmonized System tariff codes and assess customs values, duties, and taxes.
• Coordinate with internal teams, customers, carriers, vendors, and external customs brokers during the clearance process.
• Maintain accurate customs entries, shipment data, clearance statuses, and records for audit and reporting purposes.
• Identify and resolve documentation, tariff, classification, and shipment discrepancies.
• Support process improvements, special customs projects, reporting, and team knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in customs coordination, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Basic understanding of trade compliance, customs regulations, and Harmonized System tariff codes.
• Familiarity with import/export documentation, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Basic knowledge of customs clearance software and logistics management systems.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, time management, communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• An associate degree or higher in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
