What you will do

• Manage routine US and Canadian business immigration matters, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and I-140 cases, as well as Canadian work permit and permanent residence applications.
• Initiate and track matters with external immigration counsel for new hires, intra-company transfers, labor certifications, and employment-based immigration applications.
• Provide case updates to employees and stakeholders through email, HR trackers, and status calls.
• Explain immigration processes, required documentation, and timelines to employees.
• Support HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and external counsel with immigration workflows.
• Prepare immigration letters and documents and research specializations, wages, processing procedures, expedited options, and consular processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–3 years of experience with Canadian and US immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work flexibly, and maintain thorough documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and broad knowledge of current events and pop culture.
