Engineer – Structural

Salary: $106,000–$139,750 USD per year

What you will do

• Coordinate multiple structural engineering projects with internal staff and sub-consultants.
• Manage client requests, needs, schedules, and project communication.
• Apply structural engineering principles to evaluations, designs, and construction-phase services.
• Advise and mentor other engineers and review design and production deliverables.
• Ensure deliverables meet industry standards of care and PACE policies.
• Support proposals, business development, client management, and technical team leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• 4–9 years of civil engineering experience; the posting also specifies eight or more years of civil/structural engineering experience.
• Oregon State PE and Washington State PE required, or obtainable within six months.
• Oregon/Washington State SE preferred or obtainable within six months.
• Experience with concrete design and steel design.
• Strong verbal and written communication, collaboration, prioritization, and team leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial structures, mechanical/electrical support structures, building shells, transportation structures, energy, telecommunications, tanks, walls, vaults, and water/wastewater structures.
• At least two years of project management experience on small projects.
• Business development and client management experience.
