Telehealth Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Remote) - Oklahoma License

Location: Remote anywhere in the United States; active Oklahoma license required

Salary: $110,000–$125,000 USD per year, with base salary determined by experience prescribing MOUD.

What you will do

• Provide intake and follow-up clinical care for patients receiving medication for opioid use disorder and a limited range of mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and adjust them when patients are not improving as expected.
• Conduct behavioral health and psychiatric evaluations and use motivational interviewing, behavioral activation, and other brief behavioral interventions.
• Monitor symptoms, treatment adherence, medication effectiveness, side effects, and complications; prescribe or queue appropriate medications.
• Educate patients about opioid use disorder and medication for opioid use disorder.
• Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in the EHR while collaborating with clinicians, triage nurses, and care coordinators.

Requirements

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active DEA license for Schedule 3N, 4, or 5 medications, or willingness to obtain one after receiving an offer.
• Full licensure to practice in Oklahoma is required.
• Previous opioid use disorder experience is helpful but not required; willingness to learn MOUD clinical skills is essential.
• Working knowledge of differential diagnosis for common substance use disorders, psychopharmacology for opioid use disorder, and evidence-based psychosocial or brief behavioral interventions.
• Ability to provide compassionate, non-judgmental care in a remote telehealth environment and collaborate effectively in a team-based model.

Nice to have

• Additional licenses in New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, or Maryland.
• Previous experience caring for people with opioid use disorder or prescribing MOUD.
