Network Engineer (AI Infrastructure)

Location: New York, NY; Austin, TX; San Francisco, CA; Seattle, WA; U.S. Remote. Work arrangement: Hybrid.

Salary: $154,000–$242,000 per year, plus equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Design and deploy repeatable wired and wireless enterprise networks across data center campuses, offices, and labs.
• Deliver full wireless coverage in dense, RF-hostile data halls with liquid-cooled racks and active construction environments.
• Run predictive and on-site RF surveys and validate coverage after equipment installation.
• Build secure wireless architectures with WPA3-class protection, NAC, segmentation, and controlled guest and contractor access.
• Provide interim construction connectivity using satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul and lead cutover to permanent enterprise networks.
• Coordinate network requirements with data center design, deployment, IT, and security teams.

Requirements

• End-to-end design and deployment experience with enterprise campus networks, both wired and wireless.
• Strong understanding of 802.11 fundamentals, RF propagation, channel planning, and roaming behavior.
• Experience conducting predictive and on-site RF surveys with professional survey tools.
• Experience building NAC, network segmentation, guest access, and contractor access.
• Experience delivering networks in industrial, construction, or other RF-hostile environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot using packet captures and spectrum analysis; habit of maintaining version-controlled configurations and documented designs.

Nice to have

• Satellite or fixed-wireless backhaul experience.
• Wi-Fi design certifications.
• Enterprise routing and switching automation experience.
• Experience operating networks alongside OT and BMS environments.
