Python Developer (Data Protection Services)

What you will do

• Build, onboard, and maintain API microservices integrating vendor SaaS solutions and the broader technology ecosystem.
• Develop applications for sensitive-data scanning automation, masking, policy controls, scheduling, and authentication management.
• Support data security service delivery, operational activities, automation, DevOps tasks, and on-call coverage.
• Create automation scripts and observability solutions to continuously improve service reliability.
• Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews within the Data Protection development squad and stakeholder groups.
• Document solutions and share knowledge across global Data Protection squads and chapters.

Requirements

• Professional development experience with Python, FastAPI, and Beanie.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, test automation, Linux, Windows, MongoDB, and networking troubleshooting.
• Experience building and scaling APIs in a microservice environment and working within Agile teams.
• Knowledge of critical cybersecurity controls, IT Service Management practices, and secure, governed AI use throughout the AI software development lifecycle.
• Enterprise application support experience, an automation and orchestration mindset, and the ability to learn proprietary technologies in a complex regulated environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a collaborative approach.

Nice to have

• Experience with data analytics, Java, Spring Boot, React, or Angular.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Flux, Grafana, or Loki.
• Experience with BigID, Varonis, or Snyk.
