Python Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Python backend services and REST APIs.
• Build and support scalable cloud-native solutions running on AWS, including serverless components.
• Participate in requirements analysis, estimation, implementation, testing, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver business requirements.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployments, and production issue resolution.
• Improve system reliability, performance, observability, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience, including 2+ years of hands-on Python development.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend services with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of SQLAlchemy or another ORM, PostgreSQL, relational database design, and query optimization.
• Experience with PyTest or similar frameworks, unit and integration testing, Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with several AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, SNS/SQS, EventBridge, or Secrets Manager.
• Intermediate or higher English level required.

Nice to have

• Event-driven, microservices, or serverless application architecture experience.
• Authentication and authorization technologies such as JWT or OAuth2.
• Monitoring, observability, Terraform, cloud security, and performance optimization experience.
