Python Developer with MCP (AI)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain server-side implementations of the MCP protocol.
• Build scalable APIs and integration services with Python and asynchronous frameworks.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Integrate OpenTelemetry traces, metrics, and logs for observability.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, DevOps engineers, and QA specialists through delivery, testing, and code reviews.
• Improve application performance, scalability, platform reliability, and container security.

Requirements

• 3+ years of Python development experience.
• Commercial experience with API development and integration engineering.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI or aiohttp, as well as FastMCP, asyncio, and Pydantic.
• Experience with AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Knowledge of server-side MCP protocol implementation and OpenTelemetry observability.
• Understanding of container security fundamentals and ability to work collaboratively.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating tools with LangGraph.
• Exposure to AWS Bedrock and AgentCore.
• Experience working on AI-enabled platforms and services.
